Module Description

This experiment introduces the fundamental operating characteristics of photovoltaic (PV) modules by examining the relationship between solar irradiance, module orientation, and electrical output. Through experimental measurements of voltage, current, and power under varying irradiation levels and tilt angles, students develop a practical understanding of PV module behavior and the factors influencing energy conversion efficiency, providing a foundation for the analysis and optimization of solar energy systems.

Isrra Sharabai is an electrical engineer with over five years of experience, specializing in electrical engineering, robotics, and solar power system design. I have a robust background in programming and machine learning, which I have applied to various projects. Currently, I serve as a Teaching Assistant at Palestine Polytechnic University, where I teach courses in electrical and mechanical engineering, as well as advanced robotics courses for master’s students. Despite holding a bachelor’s degree, my expertise and skills have enabled me to teach at the master’s level.
My work experience includes significant contributions to the Industrial Synergy Center at Palestine Polytechnic University, where I monitored and managed the university’s solar panel systems and prepared the photovoltaic testing laboratory. I am proficient in multiple programming languages and platforms, including MATLAB, Python, and C++, and have extensive experience with the Robot Operating System (ROS). Additionally, I have integrated machine learning techniques to improve system efficiencies and capabilities in my projects.
